The Fort Lauderdale Artwalk, which takes place every last Saturday of the month, is a collaboration of art, live music, performance artists, dancers, an assortment of food trucks, as well as local vendors selling original art and handmade crafts. It all takes place at the MASS District on NE 4th Avenue. The MASS District (MASS stands for Music & Arts South of Sunrise) is a collection of creatives & businesses with a vested interest in the community and economic development of Fort Lauderdale through the arts.
I decided to give my Samyang 35mm f/1.4 lens a good workout (also brought along my Sony FE 85mm f/1.8 lens) and paid a visit to the Artwalk this past Saturday. I wasn’t disappointed. There was plenty to see, hear and eat at the Walk – and plenty to photograph. Here are a few images…

As for the Samyang 35mm f/1.4, I think the images speak for themselves. Not as snappy as the Sony 85mm but if you don’t ask it to do too much, you’ll be rewarded with some lovely images…
