Psycho Las Vegas wasn’t all death and black metal groups. Matter of fact, one of the bands I was excited (surprised) to see at the festival was all-girl indie-rock outfit Warpaint. A favorite band of mine going back several years, Warpaint is an American indie rock band from Los Angeles, California, formed in 2004. The band has released four studio albums: The Fool (2010), Warpaint (2014), Heads Up (2016), and their most recent (and excellent) album, Radiate Like This released earlier this year.

Warpaint’s dreamy psychedelic rock was a welcome change of pace from the (mostly) heavy metal/hard rock groups Psycho Las Vegas featured.
