Was back at my favorite live music venue in South Florida, the historic Miami Beach Bandshell, to check out a fiery live performance by Ballet Flamenco La Rosa, a professional Flamenco company based in Miami and made up of dancers and musicians from Spain, Latin America and the U.S.

The music was composed, arranged and performed by Guitarist José Manuel Alconchel and singer José Diaz “El Cachito” with dances by Maria Mercedes Perez, Sandra Bara, Carolina Torres and Pilar Fernandez.

Ballet Flamenco La Rosa offers performances year round for all types of public and private events as well as classes in Flamenco dance, vocals and guitar for children, teens and adults at all levels. The company partners with PAN Performing Arts Network, a nonprofit coalition of performing artists and arts organizations, to offer classes in diverse forms of dance, music and theatre.
