Our final post from “Merrie Olde England” is a peek under London’s famous graffiti tunnel – Leake Street Arches…

Leake Street Arches is a vibrant urban hub in London’s South Bank, famous for its 300-meter-long Graffiti Tunnel where street art is legal and constantly changing (despite the fact that it is against UK law on public property). It features independent bars, restaurants and entertainment venues, all housed in former railway arches under Waterloo Station, connecting South Bank to York Road.

We visited this unique attraction during our final evening in London, and the last day of what was a wonderful 21 days in Europe last January. For you budding couples out there, traveling with your partner for three weeks is quite a test for any relationship, even established ones. For Serena and I, it turned out to be a very rewarding experience where we learned a lot about each other and grew closer.

Since this trip, we’ve traveled to Spain for 19 days and Ecuador for 18 days (photos forthcoming!) – with every trip drawing us closer. Ultimately, where you are in the world takes a backseat to who you’re with. That was the case with my late wife Madelyn, my daughter Miranda and now Serena. I’m just a lucky guy, I guess.
